Based on the last game (which I got for the cube, before I got the xbox as
well as the cube for gaming), which version of ssx 3 will most likely be the
best?
I want to get the game on launch day, and GMR magazine gave the ps2 version
a 9/10 this issue, but didn't talk about the xbox, at all.

will xbox have online? (probably not, its and ea BIG game), and will xbox
have better textures (probably, I assume), and how will the xbox vs. cube
controls stack up.

I also PRAY that it has custom soundtracks on the xbox, but the last one
didn't.

Thanks alot.

It's an EA game, so all you can expect is the bare minimum in graphics,
features, and gameplay.

Personally, I'll be getting Amped 2 instead.

wow, I spelled a word wrong.
shame, shame, double shame huh?

because we all know that spelling errors are much worse than negative and
ignorant comments, like the user I was replying to had made, right?

Hey, if you want to hand out awards for ignorance, then you shouldn't
have your pants down when you do it. Now, pull them back up and be
careful not to zip too fast. We don't want any accidents around here.

I'm leaning towards wither the Xbox version (if it has the custom soundtracks
or exclusive levels) or failing that the PS2 version. I'm more used to playing
SSX on that console so for ease of pick up and play I'll most likely stick with
what I know.

Maybe PS2 if the online play gets good reviews. But definitely the PS2
version because this game was custom made for 4 shoulder buttons.

Skye
interesting opinion. do you think the developed for ps2 first? probably I
guess.

oh well, at least the two extra buttons on the xbox controller s (black and
white) are in a much better spot than on the old controller, aka "the duke"
as it has been called here.

No, but EA wasn't doing custom soundtracks in Xbox games back then.
They've started recently (Nascar 2004, for example) so there's some hope on
that front. :)

I'll either get Amped 2 or none of the above, I haven't decided yet. :)

I doubt they'd do custom soundtracks in SSX since the music is integrated
into the game.

Amped 2? If it's anything like the first one, I'll point at it and laugh,
and then keep on moving right on by it.

If only the PS2 version is online, then I'd assume it would be the best
version for that fact alone. I mean why else would you be buying the third
iteration of the same game in three year? If you aren't going online you
might as well stick to SSX Tricky.

It's actually the third game in 4 years, and they'd buy it because it's the
best snowboarding series on the market.

Wrong. The PS2 SSX3 demo shows that SSX3 like most games in the real world
will be more fun when actually played *OFFLINE*.

SSX3 is basically you against the mountain. The online cruft is like almost
like all online rubbish, not all that interesting to to people who don't
care about about it.

Sorry, but the focus on online gaming is and always shall be nothing but a
bunch of *bullshit*
